From the aircraft door to the chalet steps. Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble to the Three Valleys, the Tarentaise and Mont Blanc — in a vehicle properly equipped for mountain roads, with a driver who has done the route in January.
You choose a resort for its slopes, its chalet, its restaurants. Then comes the part nobody thinks about in advance: the two to three hours between the baggage carousel and the front door. That is where the first day is decided.
On a Saturday in February, the Tarentaise valley turns over tens of thousands of chalet beds in a matter of hours. The road becomes a single moving queue, the final hairpins take fresh snow, and a poorly equipped vehicle stops at the first mandatory-equipment sign. A family with two children, six pairs of skis and a flight that has just lost an hour does not want to discover this live.
Our job is to make that link disappear. Your flight is tracked in real time, the vehicle is sized for your luggage and your equipment, the winter tyres are fitted rather than promised, and your driver did the same road last week. You get in, you sleep if you want to, and you arrive.
The company was born on the French Riviera. At the end of the summer season the entire team moves to Moûtiers, at the crossroads of the Tarentaise — drivers and vehicles — and stays until April.
Most transfers to the resorts are run by companies based down in the valley, or subcontracted at the last minute. We are already there: twenty minutes from Courchevel and Méribel, forty from Val Thorens, Les Arcs and La Plagne, an hour from Val d'Isère and Tignes. A 5 a.m. pick-up does not depend on a driver who left Chambéry at 3.
Knowing a mountain pass in January is not something you learn from a map. Our drivers use these roads every day for five months. They know which hairpin stays icy in the shade at midday and what time the valley grinds to a halt.
Once you have arrived you are not left to your own devices. Dinner down the valley, a day in a neighbouring resort, an unplanned meeting, an early departure: we are minutes away, not two hours.
Many of our summer clients in Monaco and Cannes find us again in the Alps, with the same drivers. That continuity builds the relationship far more than a price does. Our Riviera service →
The nearest airport is not always the right one. And for many British travellers, the train is now the better answer.
The historic gateway to the French Alps and the widest choice of long-haul flights from the Gulf, London and North America. Note that the airport has a French sector as well as a Swiss one — getting that wrong means collecting your bags on one side and looking for your driver on the other.
Lyon-Saint-Exupéry is less congested than Geneva on a Saturday and has its own TGV station. Grenoble Alpes-Isère is small and quick to clear — minutes from landing to the car, where Geneva asks for thirty.
Direct winter services reach Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice — the doorsteps of the Three Valleys and the Tarentaise. We meet you on the platform. Moûtiers station →
General aviation terminals at Geneva, Chambéry and Annecy, plus the Courchevel and Megève altiports. We coordinate directly with your crew or handler, and reposition the vehicle if you are diverted.
On a February Saturday the Tarentaise turns over tens of thousands of beds in a few hours. That day, the hour you leave matters more than the power of the engine.
Winter transfers — Savoie & Haute-SavoieEvery route has its own road, its own timing and its own pitfalls. Choose yours.
Under the French Loi Montagne II, in force since November 2021, vehicles travelling in designated mountain communes must carry winter equipment from 1 November to 31 March. In practice: approved winter tyres on all four wheels, or snow chains on board for at least two driven wheels. The prefectures of Savoie, Haute-Savoie and Isère apply this across every resort access road.
Our vehicles run on winter tyres on all four wheels throughout the season, with chains or textile socks on board as well. This is not a marketing line: it is the condition for not being turned back at a check, and above all for braking on a road surface at minus six degrees between two hairpins.
A word on the driving itself. On the final twenty kilometres, the difference is not mechanical but anticipatory: reading a road under fresh snow, knowing that a shaded bend is still icy at noon, letting a snow-groomer pass rather than overtaking it. Our mountain drivers do these roads all season. They know them with snow on, not only on a map.
The classic mistake with a ski transfer: sizing the vehicle on passenger numbers and forgetting the equipment. Six pairs of skis and six hold bags do not fit in a saloon car.
The reference vehicle for the mountains. Individual seats, dedicated space for ski bags, and a ride height that inspires confidence on snow. The natural choice for families and groups.
When the journey should simply be quiet. Sound insulation, reclining rear seats, discretion. For two passengers travelling light, with equipment hired on arrival.
The understated business saloon. Ideal for one or two passengers, a day return, a meeting in resort.
Beyond seven passengers we run a convoy: several vehicles leaving together and arriving together, coordinated by a lead driver. One point of contact for you.
Your flight or train number is monitored in real time. An hour's delay, a diversion, an early arrival: the pick-up adjusts, at no cost and without you having to call.
Driver in the arrivals hall or on the platform, name board, luggage taken in hand — suitcases, ski bags and snowboard bags. You do not push a trolley.
Our drivers speak English. We regularly look after British, North American and Gulf clients, and we know what discretion means.
Baby seats, child seats and boosters provided and fitted before you arrive. Tell us each child's age and weight when booking.
No branding on the vehicles, no comment, no photographs. What is said in the car stays in the car. Non-disclosure agreements signed on request.
A Gulf red-eye lands at 6 a.m. A resort departure at 4 a.m. for a morning flight. We drive at the hours when shuttles do not.
Send us your flight and your resort. We will take care of the rest.
